Fried trout

Fried trout

The trout are cleaned, washed well and then washed with a kitchen towel.

Season with salt and pepper.

Sprinkle flour, one tablespoon on each side, so 2 tablespoons on each fish.

He shook off the excess flour.

Fry in hot oil.

I recommend you buy smaller trout to fit in the pan. If it doesn't fit in your favorite pan, either remove the head or use a tray.

Serve with french fries (I had thought of natural potatoes, but if it's fried, let it be to the end) and the famous mujda (either with sour cream or mayonnaise).

Good appetite!

How to get two trout fillets without thorns

To get two generous fillets, use a larger trout.

Here's how to do it:

Clean the fish of scales and intestines. Unlike other types of fish, trout have small scales that are difficult to remove.

A more suitable tool in this case could be the wire sponge than the knife blade.

Cut off the head, tail and wings. Wash the trunk well and place them on the wood chipper.

Take a long knife with a thin blade. Insert the blade under the ribs on one side of the fish and gently peel them off.

Then insert your thumb under the bones and gently pull to loosen the meat.

Do the same with the other side of the fish, first with the knife, then with your fingers.

Now that you've removed the entire skeleton, the fish looks like a butterfly. Cut it in half and you will get two fillets. You can leave them like this, or you can portion them again in two, for smaller portions.

The trout is particularly good fried in a pan. Put the fillets in flour mixed with a little salt and spices.

Then brown them in a little hot oil on both sides.

The fried trout can be served with polenta and a garlic or yogurt / cream sauce. It tastes sweeter if you eat it with bread.

Fried trout in a pan

Even if the window of opportunity occasioned by the holiday known to the right people The Good News closed, fish in general (trout in particular) remains one of my favorite foods. Although the cooking options seem to be limited, it is only an appearance. trout it can be prepared in the oven, on the grill (with wood, charcoal or even electric), in a grill pan or even boiled in cream. You can also make soup or borscht. Not to mention the brine.

A wonderful one trout soup I ate at the Cheița Trout Farm, as you exit Bicaz towards Lacu Roșu, on the left. The following:

Smoked trout is an ideal ingredient in a potato salad, or you can prepare a spreadable paste to lick on your fingers. I left behind the traditional version of trout in the pan. In the form of slices (if large) or whole (200 - 250 g), rolled in flour / corn / breadcrumbs and then fried in oil until golden and crispy, it is delicious! Especially if it is accompanied by proper watering. I would recommend a Zghihară de Huși, a white, dry wine, only good if it is properly cooled (10 - 12 ˚C) and you are not tempted to make a splash out of it.

Although it is the same, fried trout in a pan sounds better than "trout fried in oil”, But it gives better to PR, on the grounds of healthy food, without fats, without fried foods, without calories. If you are already salivating, read more…
